Mallie Marek
During the Clone Wars, Mallie met Kento while he was fighting Separatists on the planet Talus. They fell in love and secretly married, continuing to fight for the Republic until she found out she was pregnant—at which point she quietly left the Jedi Order along with her husband, Kento.[1]
Shortly before Order 66, she and her husband disguised themselves as medics[source?] and escaped into the Outer Rim Territories, raising Galen far from the ensuing conflict. Moving from planet to planet in search of safe haven, they finally settled on the Wookiee homeworld, Kashyyyk.[1]
Natural threats aside, the forest planet was a dangerous place to live, and the horrors of the Clone Wars came back to haunt Mallie and her family. She was killed while defending a group of Wookiees from Trandoshan mercenaries and slavers, remnants of the group hired by Separatist forces during the Battle of Kashyyyk.

Kento Marek was a Jedi Knight of the Jedi Order during the Clone Wars and later the Great Jedi Purge.[1] He was the husband of Mallie Marek and the father of Galen Marek.
